Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Our apps run on your desktop. They have no backend operated by us and do not send your app data, usage analytics, or telemetry to us.

This policy covers the desktop apps and plugins published by Sojoodi (“we,” “us,” or “our”), along with the Apps & Tools website and support communications. Website visits and messages you choose to send us are separate from using the apps.

Your app data stays under your control

Capture, Markdown Preview, Retriever, and Memory Lane do not upload your documents, screenshots, photos, notes, or credentials to us. We do not maintain a server-side copy of your app data or collect in-app analytics.

Files, preferences, and other data saved locally remain on your computer or in locations you choose. You manage that data through the app or your operating system. Removing an app may leave saved files or settings behind; we cannot access or delete those local copies for you.

Some functionality involves connections you request. For example, Retriever connects directly to the SFTP server you select to browse and download files. Those connections are between your computer and that server, not an app backend operated by us. Files you export, share, or place in a synced folder are handled by the destinations and services you choose.

Website visits and information you send us

The current website provides product information and download links without requiring an account. Downloading an app does not itself give us access to documents, photos, or server credentials on your device.

Website cookies and external services

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. Pages that load Google Fonts also make requests to Google. These requests disclose technical information, including your IP address. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can manage cookies through your browser and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies alone may not prevent all technical requests. This privacy page does not load analytics scripts or external fonts.

How website and support information is used

We use information to deliver pages and downloads, respond to questions, investigate reported problems, understand website usage, and maintain the reliability and security of the site. Support messages are used to address your request and related follow-up.

Sharing and third-party links

Website and support information may be processed by providers used for hosting, email, and website analytics as needed to provide those services. That information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. These practices do not involve collecting data from inside the desktop apps.

The website links to external services, including GitHub and Omarchy Plugins. When you visit those services, their privacy policies apply. Providers may process information outside your country, where privacy laws may differ.

Retention and security

We hold no app data on a backend. For website and support information, our approach is to keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including resolving support requests and meeting applicable legal obligations. Retention also depends on the type of information and the settings and policies of the service handling it.

No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Consider what you include in email or attachments, and contact us if you believe you have shared sensitive information unintentionally.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Some requests may be subject to identity verification or legal exceptions.

For information about Canadian privacy rights, consult the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, apps, or services evolve. The date above identifies the latest revision. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law will be handled separately.
